Bicycle Cable Lock
In what way do I lock up my bicycle with a 8mm cable lock???
I have a bmx freestyle bike , bought it for 250 $ and bought a 8mm cable lock. Not sure whether I lock frame or wheel as well ... ???
How do you lock bmx bikes please ? I leave my bike at the swimming pool

Depends on how long your cable is and what you're locking the bike to, but you for sure want to pass it through everything possible.
Make a figure-8 with the cable. Pass it through the front spokes, around the tree/pole/rack/etc., through the main triangle of the frame, on through the rear spokes, and around to the lock head. If you have enough cable, pass it through your handlebars to keep them safe, too.
Depending on what you lock up to, that method needs an 8' cable or longer. I use the Masterlock Python and have a couple different cables....they're interchangable in seconds, and it's nice to have a long cable for multiple bikes or big trees, etc.
At the very least, you want to have that cable going through the frame and one of the wheels. Passing the cable through spokes keeps someone from stealing just your wheel, and it also makes them have to carry the bike instead of rolling it, in case they find a way to remove the locked bike.
