what kind of truck/car/suv should i try to get?
things took a turn for the worse, mother decides that she is going to take my car away from me but i can't let that stop me from going to college/work etc. by the near end of summer i should have around 5 grand so what kind of car/truck/suv can i get?
i was thinking an older s10 or ford ranger. I just need the car to last me until college, get decent mileage, and easy on the insurance. what do you all suggest
Fords have been way more reliable for me over the years than any of the other brands. Ford is the only brand I will buy anymore. Rangers or F-150's and up are good trucks. 2 wheel drive trucks are not so good in the snow unless you put some weight(sand bags) in the back. Then they are fine. For $5000 you should be able to get a good running, nice looking truck.
