Set Shirt
How do I "heat set" a shirt that just painted with fabric paint?
I started my design drawing with chalk and then drew more than a decoration in black paint marker. The pen provides that one must "heating system" of painting, but I'm not sure how to do this, especially with chalk still on it a little. Do not iron the shirt just to do this? Was it a good idea to dry clean in place? Or is there another way to make this ...? Thanks!
You can also use a "pressing cloth or an old shirt to warm up the set with an iron, or turn the project from the inside out and put in the dryer for 20 minutes on high. After the heat has set you can remove the chalk marks by running it through a short cycle Cold wash (again, inside-out).
