Spacer Set Spacers
did my specialized allez comp come with spacers?
I just purchased a 2010 allez comp. I need to adjust the handlebars a bit and it came with the com-set stem. Was i suppose to get additional spacers and shim, or is that only when you buy the stem by itself?
The only thing you can do is move spacers from the top to the bottom or the other way to change the height. You have to keep the same amount of spacers you can only rearrange them. Contact the bike shop and tell them what you need. They can help you get the correct stem or make an adjustment. The cap keeps the fork in the frame and provides the tension on the headset bearings.
