Toy Track Fixed

Once you have a train set on a flat table, you might want to make it more interesting by adding some mountains and hills. There are two ways to do so, and both are easy.
Method of papier mache
If the design is temporary, or if you do not spend much money, you can use the method papier-mache. Basically, you just insert some newspapers in the general form hill or mountain, then cover with sheets of newspaper dipped in paste paper mache.
The traditional method of making paper mache paste is to add one part water to one part flour. Some people prefer to boil pasta, saying that it makes smooth. Water to flour ratio is modified parts water twelve fifty-five part flour in this case. Other people use a term three to one or one to one ratio of water and wood glue for vinyl acetate. But others say that starch makes a fine paste. Adding a pinch of cinnamon to mixing the dough gives a pleasant smell, adding a pinch of salt and sugar reduces the chances of product development of molds.
Simply dip sheets of newspaper (sometimes several times to make them thicker) on the mass and the curtain crumpled newspapers. The leaves are soft and flexible so that hills and valleys as the mold they want. Let the paper mache to dry overnight. You will find hard and rigid, like a pinata.
Painting with water paint based on shades of green grass () and brown (ground) and gray (for rock). You can also spray paint to use, but make sure it is matte, not shiny painting. While the paint is still wet, sprinkle some grass (available from the hobby shop) or greenish sawdust. When painting dry, add a bit of lichen from trees and shrubs (also available at all any hobby store).
Window Screening and Wood Stands
If your train network is permanent and more sustainable, making mountains and hills is the use of detection and wooden supports. This also has the advantage that it can run on the mountain slopes "Network" in Australia) in blocks of stapling across the screen to the blocks. You must attach the blocks to the table with screws or nails first so you can not move.
If desired, you can build a second runway at around the bed or through the mountains, above the table. Only have to use the support blocks and plywood to a rigid base of the track.
Once the selection is in place, pinching the places to make the rough, ditches and valleys. Then mix in some common household plaster (available at any hardware store to fix holes in a plaster of the wall) and foaming at the screen. You do not need care, just make sure the screen is covered. A mixture of plaster works much better with a mixture of liquids, allowing the screen to show through.
On reaching the little strong vertical, horizontal lines with a knife to simulate stone rubble. Let the plaster dry overnight, then paint as described above.
Finally, complete with all bushes and trees lichens, as appropriate.
Remember Login
When you decide how big to make your mountain, and where to place it, also think of a derailment. Murphy's Law guarantees, At some point, the train derailed in the tunnel through the mountain. Make sure the tunnel is big enough so you can reach by train and get her out.
Or consider these options: If you have a mountain of paper, gum, and not glued to the table, you can simply remove the table.
If you have a block of wood and the mountain foot fence, then consider a reduction in access holes in the table below the mountain, so can be reached and appropriate equipment or delete it. Do not drill holes too close to the runway, as if the train derailed at this point, you do not want to fall through the hole in the ground.
